Well guys, did NCAA call it or what in regards to the win over West Virginia. Boo ya. On to the next one.
Tech wins this one 37-28. Doege had a bit of a rough day, only completing 19-44, but gained 282 yards through the air, with 3 touchdowns and only one interception. Eric Stephens led the backfield with 15 carries for 85 yards. Kenny Williams added 9 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown. Eric Ward had another great game, hauling in 7 passes for 102 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kicker Ryan Bustin also had a good game, hitting all 3 of his field goal attempts.
The
defense was great once again, allowing only 28 points, but forcing 3 turnovers. Corn Dog and Cody Davis both had picks and Terrance Bullitt forced a fumble, helping Tech get its 6th (supposed to be 7th) win of
the year.
